After recently completing the fencing works for a sizeable distribution unit for one of the leading construction companies in the UK, they happily requested us to complete the works for the warehouses at G-Park Northampton.
The scheme comprises of three units and one build-to-suit logistics warehouses ranging in size from 50,350 sq ft to 155,227 sq ft. Grade ‘A’ rated, the highly specified buildings have achieved BREEAM scoring Very Good and are suitable for a range of occupiers including last mile logistics, 3PLs, retail/FMCG and manufacturers.
The works involved over 1500 meters of 2.4m Profiled V Mesh Panel Fencing, several Matching Single Leaf Gates for pedestrian access, and a great amount of Double Leaf Swing Gates, each different widths to suit the environment. This ensures controlled passage for all vehicles involved. Along with these gates we erected four Automated Rising Arm Barriers meaning each vehicle can be monitored automatically on arrival/exit, ensuring higher security.
As well as making the warehouses as secure as possible the contractor also took the housing surrounding into consideration, therefore we provided over 100 metres of Single Sided Reflective Acoustic Fencing at 5.0m High. Along with two matching gates at 2.4 metres high.
For protection to the warehouse ABC Fencing erected Armco Crash Barriers and Bollards to ensure the highest safety and mitigate any risks in the event of an accident.
Lastly, we provided 3 Bin Stores throughout the environment in our classic Hit and Miss Fencing and Knee Rail along the entrance of the buildings.
