This car park fencing comprised 2.4m high 358 mesh fencing panels with 4mm thick wires, 76.2mm vertical spacing, and 12.7mm horizontal spacing, welded at each intersection. This close mesh specification is specifically designed to resist climbing and cutting, making it highly effective for suicide prevention applications. Posts were fixed to the parapet wall with a 75mm offset using flat clamp bars and M8 bolts, ensuring maximum security.
Bespoke infill panels, framed in 50×50 RHS and clad in matching 358 mesh, were fabricated to fit existing apertures. All steelwork was galvanised and polyester powder-coated in a client-specified colour, and fabrication drawings were approved prior to manufacture.
