Data Centre Fencing Project Completed in Newport

ABC Fencing recently completed the installation of a 3.6-metre-high security fencing system at a data centre site in Newport, delivered on behalf of a main contractor.

This project required a robust, high-security perimeter solution to meet the demands of a critical infrastructure environment.
The perimeter was constructed using 358 welded mesh fencing, known for its strong anti-climb design and high level of security.

The system features:

• 4mm welded steel mesh with tight spacing to prevent climbing and cutting
• Structural steel posts set in concrete at regular centres
• Reinforced steel angle sections at both the top and bottom of the fence line
• Clamp bar fixings for added strength and rigidity
• Fully galvanised finish for long-term corrosion protection

This project demonstrates our capability to deliver high-specification security fencing solutions for sensitive and mission-critical facilities. Working alongside the main contractor, we ensured the installation met strict performance, security, and durability requirements.
